Family Guy: Uncensored Review – The worst iPhone game ever created

1 Comment// Posted in Reviews, Video Games, iPhone by Sean on 10.12.09.

I was really looking forward to playing Family Guy: Uncensored. I figured a show I love on a platform I love couldn’t go wrong. But now I’d rather be Meg Griffin then ever play this game again (that’s a bad thing, in case you didn’t catch it).

Family Guy: Uncensored is a game where, [...]

Tap Tap Revenge 3 Review – The best iPhone game is even better

1 Comment// Posted in Reviews, Video Games, iPhone by Sean on 10.11.09.

Tap Tap Revenge 2.6 is definitely one of my favorite iPhone games, and its certainly one of the best of the bunch. TTR3, an updated version, was just released on October 6th.
TTR is your typical music game where where circles come floating to the bottom of the screen and you must, in this case [...]

Sportacular updated to include fantasy football and more

The awesome, must-have app Sportacular that I previously reviewed was updated yesterday to 1.6 last night. The update adds functionality to manage and track your fantasy football team along with their Facebook app. It also included “better game pages” for NFL and NCAA football.

iPhone Review: Sheep Launcher Plus! ($0.99) – A great high score game that everyone should have if they don’t already

Sheep Launcher is a game that has been at the top of the iTunes download list for a while, and it has a right to be. It is the short, high score type of game that really fits to the iPhone platform and it’s a definite buy for anyone that has an iPhone/iPod touch.

The [...]

iPhone Review: Sportacular – A must-have app for any sports fan

No Comments// Posted in Reviews, iPhone by Sean on 09.27.09.

I’m not that big of a sports fan, but I’m doing a football pool this year so I thought it’d be nice to be notified of the scores of the games as they happen. Through some searching, the best app for the job seemed to be Sportacular, and it certainly is.
Sportacular lets you see [...]

iPhone Review: Aardvark – A great idea that falls a little flat

1 Comment// Posted in Reviews, Video Games, iPhone by Sean on 09.26.09.

Aardvark is an app I saw in the most popular list and thought I’d check it out because it sounded like a great idea. It is an App that promises what services similar to ChaCha offer, where you ask a question and then others answer your question. The cool thing about Aardvark is [...]

iPhone Review: LOLCats vs I Can Has Cheezburger

No Comments// Posted in Reviews, iPhone by Sean on 09.22.09.

I’ve been using the iPhone app LOLCats for a while. Every once in a while I get in a lolcat mood and spend an hour giggling profusely over kittehs. For a while it was the only iPhone app worth getting to view lolcats. But today I noticed there was app made by [...]

iPhone Game Review: TaxiBall ($2.99)

2 Comments// Posted in Reviews, Video Games, iPhone by Sean on 09.21.09.

I thoroughly love (present tense) Self Aware Games’ Word Ace, so I thought I’d check out their other game, TaxiBall. The game is sort of a mix between Super Monkey Ball and Crazy Taxi. Now Crazy Taxi is probably one of my favorite games of all times, so I was doubly excited about [...]

iPhone Game Review: Sketch Dungeon ($0.99)

No Comments// Posted in Reviews, Video Games, iPhone by Sean on 09.20.09.

For some reason I think indy games on the iPhone whose graphics are made to look like hand drawings. The style just intrigues me for some reason. So because I this I thought I would check out Sketch Dungeon. It is a single-player dungeon crawler similar to the old-school game Gauntlet, but [...]
