A game that got a lot of hype when it first came out was Space Invaders Infinity Gene. So I thought I’d give it a shot. But I wish I hadn’t.

It is just like the old Space Invaders where you continue through levels to get a high score, except as you progress through each level, it “evolves” to add basically more/different stuff on the screen. I think they were going for the gameplay evolving on each level, but it really doesn’t. The controls are that the ship that fires moves where ever your finger is on the screen (from left to right) and it is constantly shooting, which I feel really was the best approach for the platform.

This game isn’t terrible, I guess. But it really couldn’t keep my nor Melissa’s (a non-gamer) attention for more than even a minute. It’s just not good at all. Also, I really hate the graphics. As you can see in the pics above, it looks like a 10 year old programmed these graphic. Yucky.
