For those that don’t know Peggle, it’s very hard to explain. It’s much like the Japanese game Pachinko where you drop (or shoot) a ball from the top of the 2D screen and it falls onto pegs that are spread across the screen. As you hit a peg, it disappears. The point is to either get rid of all the orange pegs, or all of the pegs if you’re really good. Peggle has been on the iPod classic, PC, DS, Xbox Live Arcade, and even on World of Warcraft.
If you haven’t yet purchased Peggle on any other platform, then buy this immediately. Peggle is one of the most fun games of all time. It might sound silly in words, but watch a video or it or something to see for yourself. It’s the type of game that anyone, casual or hardcore or not a gamer at all, can just pick up and immediately enjoy. You’ll start playing it and 2 hours later wonder where all that time went.
If you have bought and played Peggle before on another platform, then buy it again. It looks exactly the same as it does on the computer (which is gorgeous by the way), but it’s worth the extra $4.99 to play it portably without lugging around a DS (and it’s much easier to control than on the iPod classic).
So… buy it.
Tomorrow: Wordfu Flight Control (once again couldn’t do Wordfu, this time because it refuses to load on my iPod now…)
